“The Office” finale is on in approximately 3 hours and 28 minutes . Not that I’m counting or anything. I want to make some predictions, mostly because if I’m right I’ll get to say “I told you so”. And I so rarely get that kind of satisfaction in my everyday life. (If I’m wrong, this post will most likely be deleted at 10:01pm).
So…
And there you have it. For further reading, check out www.creedthoughts.gov.www/creedthoughts.

As you may have heard, “Scrubs” is moving to ABC next year, and not a moment too soon. You know how I feel about NBC’s treatment of this show (I mean, EIGHTEEN different time slots in 7 years? What the frak?), so hopefully it will be treated with the respect it deserves for its final season. Show creator Bill Lawrence gave an interview to TV Guide today and spoke frankly about NBC’s less than stellar treatment of the show, his excitement to move to ABC, and most interestingly, how the show is going back to its earlier “dramedy”-like roots. Personally, I have enormous respect for a showrunner who can admit that “this past season we were less than inspired comedically”.
This is my favorite excerpt from the interview:
They [NBC] didn’t want to do any kind of wrap-up?
Lawrence: Not only did they not want to do any kind of wrap-up, but they took an episode that was supposed to air in the middle of the season — the fairytale episode — and marketed it as a series finale. Which was bulls–t. It was never supposed to be a series finale, much less a season finale, and I think it ended up getting judged kind of harshly because of it. If it was just a regular episode that people had tuned into I think they would’ve thought it was cool and funny.
Read the full interview HERE (it’s short and totally worth it). In related news, why do I have such a crush on Dr. Cox? And is it just me, or does Zach Braff’s hair get bigger every time I see him? Perhaps it’s just trying to keep up with his ego.

Can we just discuss the SVU finale for a moment. First of all, why are all the cast members leaving??? Second, Ice-T I’m glad you cut off your ponytail because at least now you look a little less creepy, but a little cold towards stabler, huh? I guess the episode was appropriately titled at least. Also, I am disappointed that there was not at least a 5 second BD Wong swoop in this epi (I mean it was the season finale, come on!) and I was hoping for at least one good Benson and Stabler moment

So I read today that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are indeed expecting twins.
I know I could just go crazy writing about my dislike for kids so I am just going to say:
Wow, that is a lot of children.
…and I probably never will. But seriously, what the HELL is she wearing?!
And was I the only one that thought some of Sarah Jessica Parker’s outfits on “Sex and the City” were SO bizarre/hideous/ unflattering?? Also, I pretty much hated the character of Carrie. I liked the other three, but for some reason she just seemed so… whiney. And the whole I love Mr. Big/ I hate Mr. Big/ I love Aiden/ I hate Aiden/ I don’t want to marry Aiden/ I’m going to cheat on Aiden with Mr. Big/ I hate Mr. Big/ I miss Aiden/ I’m back with Aiden/ I’m breaking up with Aiden/ I love Mr. Big/ I can’t have Mr. Big/ I’m going to sleep with a Russian/ Yay! I’m back with Mr. Big was just too much for me to handle. Or keep track of. Though I seem to remember to it pretty clearly now. I blame insomnia and reruns on TBS.

**UPDATE- ha. ha. HA. Look at this picture of the
4 of them… Kim Cattrall looks PISSED that SJP’s bouquet hat is almost blocking her face. No wonder she hates SJP. Also, is that women in the background mocking the hat? If so, I salut her.
We had the idea of writing about things that we love and want to share with people. But now I want to share something new that I just started watching. I just started watching How I Met Your Mother. I will let you know that Britney Spears’ cameo had no influence on my decision to watch it.
I have enjoyed it so far. It has a great cast. Neil Patrick Harris is legendary (ha ha ha) as Barney.I am pretty sure that the lead actor played by Josh Radnor is the love child of Jimmy Fallon and Zach Braff. Also, Henry Thomas and John Cusack might be his grandparents. Alyson Hannigan from Buffy is breaking out her distinctive Willow role. Jason Segel from Freaks and Geeks and Judd Apatow movies is great as the law student Marshall.
My least favorite character is Robin, but I cant exactly say why.
Also, I am 83% percent sure that Bob Saget is the narrator.
I am in the middle of the second season. I watched the first season on Netflix and now I am trying to watch the other episodes…by other means. People in charge of Hulu…you should add all the episodes!

I’m up to my eyeballs in paper-writing right now. In related news, I think I’ve exhausted my use of the term “moreover”. In the spirit of taking a break so I don’t rip out my eyeballs and throw them at my computer, I’m sharing this picture, which can’t help but make me smile.
75 more days until X-Files 2 hits theaters!!

*Update- Wow, Jill is mean… she implied that Gillian Anderson looks like Heather Mills. Um, yeah, they kind of look alike, except Gillian Anderson is about 30 years younger, has both her legs, and is very attractive. But other than that, they could be twins.
I think I would almost prefer if we never see the Adama/ Roslin romance up close. These little moments like the one at the end of last night’s episode are so pure and hopeful. It is way better than seeing anything more.
Also…where has Hera (or if you prefer HEE-RA) been all this time that mommy cylon and daddy ll helo j are off on the garbage ship with Kara? By the way, Kara looks so strung out on drugs. They should use her picture in middle school health classes.
Next week: D’anna is in the hizzouse?

*Jennie update- As much as I would love to see Adama and Roslin kiss, I totally agree with Jill about these little moments between them being so wonderful. This season we’ve seen a great evolution in their relationship, and whenever I see him reading to her in sick bay or her coming to see him in the middle of the night, I can’t help but smile and fall in love with this show all over again.
Sadly, I had to miss BSG last night because of the May Days Dance…so I go Hulu to watch the latest episode…we are already on episode 8?
I can’t believe this…only two more episodes until it is taken away from us again? I don’t want to have to wait another year for these episodes. They are so jam-packed, amazing episodes of television.
I hope that they show the last ten episodes sooner than a year… maybe three months or six months? It reminds me of the conflicted feelings I had about when the last Harry Potter book release date rumors were swirling. I wanted to wait as long as possible, but as soon as I read Deathly Hallows I knew it was the right decision to release it last summer. It was perfect.
I hope BSG is too.

*Update* Jennie let me know that Razor is considered 1 and 2. : )
